Also involved with this dedication will be Rabbi Jana Benedetti of Shreveport, LA.  Collaboration by Audrey Kariel and Janet Cook of information about the congregation, in booklet form, will be available to all. Families of former congregation members will be introduced.  A reception will follow the official exhibit opening.

On Sunday morning, interested guests and visitors are invited to visit the historic Marshall Hebrew Cemetery, located near the East Texas Baptist University campus. Congratulations to Audrey and Louis Kariel, Jr. for their devotion to keeping the Jewish presence in Marshall ongoing.  Audrey Kariel has been gathering information on Temple Moses Montefiore and Marshall's Jewish community since 1973 when the Temple was closed.
